BC offers XPTurbo cylinder jugs that have been hopped up with copper o-rings to ensure proper head gasket sealing at high boost levels. We choose the XPT cylinders because of the closed deck design and the fact that they're +.050" taller deck height. This adds rigidity and support to the cylinders as well as delivering less piston side loading with an optimal compression height design piston.

Note: BC9090 requires BC/Cometic head gasket part number BC8291-3 that features the MLS design to work with O-Rings.
Copper O-Rings with .012" protrusion are inserted around the cylinder bores to contain combustion.
Four hollow dowels (.500' O.D.) around the perimeter keep the head from shifting at high boost.
The factory Polaris dowels are only .230" O.D. and are adequate only to about 250whp before shifting.
BC uses only the XPTurbo cylinders because of its closed deck design and taller deck height.
