Yamaha YXZ1000R / Textron Wildcat XX CRANKSHAFTS
BC crankshafts are designed with the Yamaha Sidewinder oil pump drive gear for added oil pressure. This feature requires a Sidewinder oil pump, or simply the smaller diameter Sidewinder drive sprocket that can be bolted to the YXZ pump. These cranks fit all Yamaha Genesis 3 cylinder / 4 stroke applications, including the Yamaha Nytro, Yamaha Vector and Yamaha Viper snowmobile platforms, plus some Yamaha Wavrunner applications. BC crankshafts are made from the finest, aerospace grade 4340 steel billet material. CNC machined on state of the art, 5 axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV CNC machines to exacting tolerances (.0001"). Every crankshaft features large radius journals that add rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, high rpm applications. Gun drilled, CNC ground oil holes feature a smooth surface for extra oiling, tear dropped for added oil scoop, cBME drilled for priority main feeding to the rods and micro polished to a mirror finish for optimum bearing lubricity. All cranks are stress relieved, shot peened, magna flux inspected and nitrided (multi step heat treatment) for ultimate performance. Fully profiled counterweights are designed for reduced windage through the crankcase creating less oil resistance for better rpm potential. |

YAmaha yxz / 998 RACE SERIES PERFORMANCE ROD BEARINGS.
New ACL rod bearings for the Yamaha 998 engine (YXZ, SideWinder, Viper, Nytro, Vector, Venture, Viking, VKPro, WaveRunner V1, VK, VX, EX, FJR1300, Rage, Wolverine, etc...) are available exclusively through BC. ACL Race Series performance engine bearings are manufactured to exacting tolerances. Micron tolerance machining supported by precision measurement systems delivers consistent accuracy to key characteristics like wall thickness and crush. A blend of characteristics to provide high strength and excellent seizure resistance with no flash plating applied to further improve bearing retention and maximise heat transfer. Improved bearing retention from higher radial contact pressure with more effective heat dissipation through improved thermal transfer. Bearing Eccentricity Definition: Gradual reduction in wall thickness between the crown and parting line. ACL Race Series performance engine bearings feature increased eccentricity to improve shape adaptation to compensate for bore distortion at high speed operation. Assists in the formation of hydrodynamic oil film.
